Cousins
A group of cousins posed together during a family photography session on the shores of Lake Michigan. This is an older photo but remains one of my favorites because they gathered together and for a moment, this "rock star" photo happened. I captured it, and knew in that moment, it would be one of my all-time favorites. I tried color, but in the end, black and white was the way to go, showcasing the form and emotions, instead of the vibrancy of color. Color would have gotten in the way. Besides, the lighting was pretty special that day. Hazy but directed enough to get good illumination on their faces, and rim light on their hair.Location: Jacksonport, WI.
