The bridal couple poses on the rocks of Lake Michigan in Door County, Wisconsin. The dusky sunshine in the background was stunning, but the end result required a great deal of post-production to balance the background's brightness with the couple. Photography on the waterfront takes a bit of practice because of the lighting challenges it presents. The couple had an intimate family wedding at a private rental home on the shore, with the gourmet dinner served inside and on the patio after the ceremony. By focusing on a smaller group of people, the couple was able to enjoy a rehearsal dinner cruise on the schooner Edith Becker out of Sister Bay, run by Sail Door County.
