I adore this couple who did their engagement session on a bitter cold day in Door County, first at Cave Point County Park, then at Whitefish Dunes State Park's pine plantation near Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin. Same-sex engagements and weddings are such a joy, and I'm honored every time I am asked to shoot one. Since this couple had to travel, we didn't have flexibility with the day. But in the end, it turned out perfect, with hazy sun, fluffy snowflakes and gorgeous scenery at Cave Point. After this, we stopped at Jacksonport town park beach for some photos by the icy waters of Lake Michigan.
