I've had the privilege of following this couple from engagement to wedding to a couple of family photo sessions. They are the sweetest family, and I always enjoy seeing them again. We did this session at Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay WI in Door County. Crossroads is a nature preserve with an education center. The grounds have woods, fields, trails, walking bridges, and ephemeral ponds and streams. Certain times of the year are less feasible than others, such as springtime when the grounds can be muddy, and times when mosquitoes are out. But autumn is a fantastic time, when the trees begin to change.
