I've known this family for several years, so when they asked if I would do family photos of them, I was honored and excited to work with them. We chose Portage Park in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, which was close to the Coast Guard Canal Station where we went for sunset photos. But the photos on the beach were priceless. The light was perfect, no wind, and perfect temperatures. We captured several photos in different areas, but the family ended up using this image the most in their home and in different social media uses. I was so happy with how the session turned out! It's great working with people you know: you want to give them everything you have in the tank.
