Kids are usually great at posing, maybe from social media culture and experience, and I like to let them do it naturally. It's fantastic when it works out--uninhibited, natural, but not candid, and still all together for a posed photo. We did photos on the grounds of Westwood Shores Waterfront Resort near Sturgeon Bay, but the sun was harsh for the larger group whots that could not be moved to other locations. But an unexpected location, on the side of the building with lovely light reflecting off the resort's siding, was perfect for the smaller groupings. These kids were game to do some fun poses, and I let them do their thing.
