You can choose your family, but you can't choose the weather. On a freezing cold autumn day, this fun and lovely family and I managed to pull off a few outdoor shots, on a dock in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin, with a blanket and warm thoughts. The family was delightful, and really wanted some outdoor images. The best part was, they huddled together in such a sweet way, it was even better than if I had posed them carefully. So, in a way, the cold worked. Family photos are such a great thing to do when vacationing together in Door County. You never regret getting photos.
