This couple had been married previously, and dressed again for a session in Door County. One stop was at the U.S. Coast Guard Canal Station where a road heads to a large pier that goes out to a red lighthouse. The pier is a classic backdrop, but as they were walking back to their car, I noticed the light was perfect at the crest of the hill, so I had the couple pause there for photos, while I stayed at the bottom of the small hill. After the canal station, we stopped at Portage Park for beach photos and at a Crossroads at Big Creek entrance and enjoyed amazing light. Then, we headed to Leathem Smith Lodge area on the Sturgeon Bay shoreline, near the marina and the highway bridge supports. At that point, a gig, dark storm approached, and we did photos quickly there, with the stormy clouds, before rain ended the session.
