The grand march is often a time of celebration and fun. In very formal affairs, the grand march is sometimes a dignified and royal event. In most Door County weddings, the march is a joyous event with wedding party couples coming in with a bang, which are definitely more fun to photograph. Knowing how to deal with light with uncertain movements, and difficult light situations is a challenge, one that I've spent years dialing in. Dark inside, but bright outside? You don't want a silhouette of the couple coming in, so it requires having moveable light sources, to balance the dark and bright.
