A high school senior poses for her senior photo session at a Land Trust property near Egg Harbor, WI in Door County. We used trails through a fallow field for photos in the early morning sunlight. Timing is crucial for outdoor senior photos. Usually we aim for later afternoons or early evenings during the summer, during the Golden Hour of sunlight. But mornings can work, too. The only difference is, light gets better and better as the evening wears on, before sunset. Depending on the light, and the session start time, you often have to work a little quicker in the morning, before the sun gets too high. But this session worked perfectly, with the early start and hazy sun.
