A just-married couple pauses at Schoolhouse Beach for a kiss. But it was the rocks and waves that caught my attention, and I focused on that. The result was a photo that told a story, more than a canned posed image would. We did other photos, but the beauty of Washington Island's Schoolhouse Beach is the polished rocks, and the clear, cold water. Focusing on that, which was the reason they wanted photos at the beach, told the story of their small, intimate, summer wedding on Washington Island. We also went to Fragrant Isle, and Jackson Harbor for photos, but this one was my favorite.
