Sparkler exits are a common event during weddings, usually at the end of the reception. Often the event is staged for photos, but in this case, the couple actually left their reception after walking through the sparklers. It was a mild early summer evening with no wind, so the sparklers were a safe option at the private Airbnb residence on the shores of Lake Michigan in Door County Wisconsin, near Cave Point. The family and friends remained at the large home, staying on site. That's also a popular option with smaller weddings, providing guests a safe location to celebrate and not have to drive to lodging off site.
