At the end of the wedding day, I like to take the couple outside for a final photo, with lighting. This couple's Sturgeon Bay wedding featured a dinner and reception at Leathem Smith Lodge, so we included the festive lights outside the lodge and a few of my off-camera lights to create this image. The night shot is a great way to take a break from the dancing and commotion and get a final photo. Each night photo is unique--there are so many factors that play into it, from a rainy, late autumn evening near Lambeau Field, to a hot, still night in Sturgeon Bay, each one showcases the wedding's evening. Doing the night photo also allows me the opportunity to talk to the couple before departing for the evening.
