The bride's son gave his mom a big hug after the emotional ceremony. The couple's outdoor, lakefront wedding and reception included only a few close friends and family at an Airbnb in Algoma, Wisconsin. Small weddings are wonderful to photograph--and I usually offer custom packages to accommodate (as long as the date is not a prime season Saturday.) Small weddings give me the opportunity to capture more of the special moments since there aren't as many other things going on, like a long family group session. We lucked out with an early May date on the lake--it could have been cold and windy, but the day turned out gorgeous with sunny skies and warm temps.
