A couple plays the popular "Shoe Game" during their reception. The Shoe Game is where the couple sits back to back, with each having one of their shoes, and one of their new spouse's shoes. The DJ usually asks questions, like "Who is the better cook?" and the couple raises the shoe in answer. This can go on for a little while or a long while. The reception game seems to happen in northeast Wisconsin, and probably in the Midwest, but I'm unsure if it's a "thing" anywhere else. It's an OK game to play if people have stopped dancing. However, if I can be candid, there is a lot of fun dancing going on that the DJ interrupts, the game can be a big buzz kill.
